Things You Should Know

  • Quilts are made with 3 layers, the t-shirt quilt top, batting and backing. The price list includes a simple meander
    quilting design. Other quilting designs are available upon request and for an extra fee (it is my opinion, however,
    that the focus should be on the t-shirts and not fancy quilting. 🙂
  • Shirts should be recently laundered (please do not use fabric softener) and intact (excluding any holes, rips or
    tears to be mended).
  • Each shirt will be cut** into 12” x 12”  15” x 15” square depending on shirt size and quilt design. Unless
    otherwise discussed and agreed upon between Quilter and Client, it is possible that some decals may have a small
    portion cut away.

* Prices per shirt are all inclusive (i.e.; thread, interfacing, batting, backing and/or sashing, quilting, and binding are included in the price of each shirt)
** Scrappy T-Shirt Quilts will have various block sizes. Number of shirts needed is determined by desired quilt size.
*** If needed, the back of a shirt can be used as blank quilt block to complete desired quilt size.
